The information contained on this website is to introduce you to Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) (with some variations resulting with using a term MTT), which is a technique referred to as a type of energy work. To date, EFT has yielded remarkable results for relieving emotional and physical distress. Even though EFT appears to have promising mental, spiritual, and physical health benefits, it has yet to be fully researched by the Western academic, medical, and psychological communities. Because (1) EFT is an experimental modality, (2) its risks and benefits are not fully known, (3) it is not used to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or psychological disorder, and (4) it is not meant to replace standard medical and/or mental health counseling, you are fully responsible for using this technique and for your own well being during and after EFT sessions.
If you choose to use EFT, it is possible that emotional or physical sensations or additional unresolved memories may surface, which could be perceived as negative side effects. Emotional material may continue to surface after using EFT, indicating that other issue may need to be addressed. Previously vivid or traumatic memories may fade which could adversely impact your ability to provide detailed legal testimony regarding a traumatic incident.
I am not a physician nor do I have any formal training in medicine, acupuncture or psychotherapy, and I make no warranty, guarantee, or prediction regarding your outcome while using EFT for any particular issue. I am not liable for any side effects or results of the treatment. I encourage you to get regular medical exams and talk to your doctor or other health professionals about what treatments are best for you.
With respect,
Ella Prejzner
